KCF Youth Scholarship

SECURING THE FUTURE

Five $1000 Scholarships are available through the Kentucky Cattlemen's Association and are funded by the Kentucky Cattlemen's Foundation

Kentucky Cattlemen's Foundation Scholarship requirements:

  • You must be a graduate from a Kentucky high school in the Spring of 2009.
  • Be accepted for enrollment in a Kentucky college or other institute of higher education. 
  • Planning to major in Agriculture or an Agriculturally-related subject.
  • Applicant or their parent or guardian must be a member of the Kentucky Cattlemen's Association.

The scholarship presentation takes place at the 2009 Kentucky State Fair in August.

Kentucky Cattlemen's Association Scholarship Requirements

 To be eligible:

q      You must be a graduate from high school in the year of application.
q      Be accepted for enrollment in a Kentucky college or other institute of higher education.
q      Planning to major in Agriculture or an Agriculturally related subject.
q      You or a member of your family must be a member of the Kentucky Cattlemen's Association.
q      Be available for awards presentation at the Kentucky State Fair.

 Application Process

q      Complete the attached application form.
q      Submit an official high school transcript.
q      Submit a letter of recommendation from one of the following:
        ·       County 4-H or Agriculture agent
      ·       FFA advisor or other high school teacher
q      Return this form along with the above mentioned requirements to the KCA office by      
    July 17, 2009.
