FACTS Tour Makes Plans to Visit California

The FACTS (Feedlot And Carcass TestS) Tour is headed to California for 2017.

The dates of the trip are set for
September 10 - September 15, 2017
.

The group will fly out of Louisville Sunday morning and return in the late evening on Friday. Once again the trip will fly out and use a charter bus.  Tentative stops for the trip includes a feedlot, ranches, further processing companies, university and many other appropriate stops. We are still working out the details so they are tentative at this point and may change as the trip draws near.  The trip includes air, hotel, nearly all of the meals, snacks and the charter bus. We are very lucky to have industry support on the trip, so many meals are also sponsored, helping to keep the cost of the trip minimal.

The FACTS tour is typically a very intense but fun time for all involved. The tour is open to anyone who would like to take part and those of you who have participated before are encouraged to participate again, as the itinerary changes each year. If you are unable to attend and have benefited from a previous tour, please encourage others to take advantage of this opportunity.

Time is drawing near to register for this tour. The cost to participate this year is $1,500.  The deadline for trip registration and non-refundable down payment ($750) is June 23rd, 2017. Full payment must be received no later than August 11, 2017. These spots are expected to fill very quickly due to the popularity of this annual tour. Availability is on a first come, first served basis. To be eligible for the trip, participants must fill out the participation form and send it with payment to FACTS Tour, at the Kentucky Cattlemen’s Association, 176 Pasadena Dr., Lexington, KY 40503. Payments can be made by check or credit card.
