The Community Involvement Award, established in 2014, showcases county association’s work and involvement in their community. Counties will be awarded points based on their county’s participation in events and activities listed on the Community Involvement Award application. The county with the most points at the end of the membership year will be awarded $500 for their local association and will be presented at the KCA Annual Convention. One county per membership division is eligible to win, but cannot win consecutive years.

Participation runs October 1, 2015 through September 30, 2016. Counties are required to collect their own materials and submit them along with the application to the KCA Office by October 14, 2016. Counties may request additional applications, but only one may be submitted.
