ANIMAL SHELTER ASSISTANCE GRANT


Administered by Kentucky Cattlemen’s Foundation, The Animal Shelter Assistance grant was established to provide financial assistance to agencies for shelter expansion, improvement, or general needs to ensure the well being of the animals in the shelter.

2016 ANIMAL SHELTER ASSISTANCE GRANT WINNERS >

 
Pulaski County Animal Shelter, Somerset, KY
$750 will be used to purchase new cat cages for the best care and comfort of their feline friends.
  Harlan County Friends of the Shelter, Harlan, KY
$1780 will be used to purchase an airless foam and spray disinfectant system to keep the shelter clean.
     
 
Oldham County Animal Control, LaGrange, KY
$700 will be used to build a run-in shed for impounded livestock.
  Butler County Animal Shelter, Morgantown, KY
$600 will go to purchase dog beds.
     
Madison County Animal Shelter, Berea, KY
$1170 will be used for a new scale to weigh animals upon arrival and to purchase new fans

The Animal Shelter Assistance program received nearly 30 applications from across the state and plans to continue the program in the future. The Kentucky Cattlemen’s Foundation encourages everyone to donate to their local animal shelter.
